Hey there JamChallengers👋! New year 🍾, new monthly community musical challenge 🎉, right ?
Hopefully you've had a wonderful Christmas 🎄 break and between all the food, festive drinks, friends (and practice), you did catch up on some movies 🎞️, tv shows 📺 and of course, video games 🎮.
So what better way to start the year, than with an awesome #EpicSoundtrackChallenge ❤️.
How it works
1. Pick a soundtrack theme from the movies, tv shows or video games that hit you hard.
2. Learn it on your instrument.
3. Play 20 seconds of it (at least).
Format
Audio-only recordings are enough.
Video is optional, if you are comfortable with it.

How to join
Record your takes
Post them on our Discord, on the appropriate channel for your instrument or level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
We encourage you to start small:
Learn a few seconds of it (e.g. 5 seconds).
Record.
Post on Discord.
Repeat until you have at least 20 seconds. This way you'll see your progress in time very clearly.
Focus on progress, not perfection. Your first take won't sound like your fifth—that's the point.
Plus, you'll practice more without realizing it - sneaky way to level up!
